Apple has recently expanded its iPad line, introducing the iPad Pro and iPad Air with enhanced AI capabilities.
The latest addition, iPad Pro, has been promoted as Apple's slimmest product yet. It will come in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, with options for silver and space black finishes. The product will also be available in storage sizes of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. Equipped with the new M4 chip, the iPad Pro boasts features such as an Ultra Retina display, Neural Engine, an advanced camera system, a high-performance USB-C connector that supports both Thunderbolt 3 and USB 4, the Apple Pencil Pro, Magic Keyboard, and Smart Folio.
The iPad Pro will be stocked in Apple stores starting May 15. Prices will begin at $999 for the 11-inch Wi-Fi model and $1,199 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The 13-inch model will start at $1,299 for the Wi-Fi version and $1,499 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant.
Alongside the iPad Pro, Apple also unveiled a redesigned 11-inch iPad Air and a brand new 13-inch iPad Air. These devices are bolstered by the M2 chip, which enhances their CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine. Both iPads offer support for the Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil, and Magic Keyboard, providing a more creative and productive experience for users.
Apple's vice president of Product Marketing, Bob Borchers, expressed his excitement about the new releases. He highlighted the brilliant Liquid Retina display, powerful M2 chip, as well as the impressive AI capabilities, and vibrant, portable design of the iPad Air, making it more potent and versatile than ever before.
The redesigned 11-inch iPad Air will retail at $599, while the all-new 13-inch model is priced at $799. Both products will be available in stores from May 15.
