Allegations of sexual harassment of all types have become a real trend. Elon Musk became another subject of such claims.

The incident took place in 2016 on a flight to London. The flight attendant told her friend that Musk asked her to come to his private room for a "full body massage." She accused the billionaire of exposing himself and rubbing her leg without consent. Musk offered to buy her a horse in exchange for an erotic massage. The flight attendant refused because she was afraid of horses. After a successful landing, SpaceX and the woman entered into a severance agreement granting the attendant a $250,000 payment in exchange for a promise not to file a lawsuit.

However, after a while, the case went to court. The allegations resulted in Musk losing $10 billion in one day. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, as of May 19, his fortune stood at about $212 billion. Due to the allegations, the businessman's net worth has dropped to $201 billion. Thus, since the beginning of the year, the entrepreneur has become poorer by more than $69 billion. This is partly due to the decline in Tesla shares.
