US regulator threatens sanctions on Elon Musk

During his successful career, Elon Musk has been facing numerous claims from the US regulator. However, he always finds ways to avoid this or that ban. Nevertheless, the policy of newly elected President Joe Biden may change the state of affairs for the worse.

The new administration of the White House is planning to expand the powers of the regulatory authorities. At the same time, the founder of such companies as Tesla and SpaceX has no intention to alter his stance. Experts believe that the likelihood of a conflict and sanctions against Elon Musk is rapidly rising. The US regulator disapproves of the activity of both companies and the way Musk behaves in social networks. For example, in January, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sent Tesla a formal letter requesting the recall of 158,000 Model S and Model X vehicles. As a result, Tesla met the requirement only at the beginning of February. In December 2020, the Starship prototype SN8 exploded during a test flight. The Federal Aviation Administration concluded that the SpaceX company violated the terms of its launch license. The US Securities and Exchange Commission does not approve of Musk’s behavior on Twitter. The fact is that bitcoin and Dogecoin, a joke cryptocurrency, surged after he wrote just several posts.
